The Drysdale Football and Netball Club' along with the support of Newcomb Football Netball Club hosted the Big Freeze Geelong2 yesterday.

One of the biggest country Victoria events to help fund medical research for Motor Neurone Disease (MND).

The donations are still being tallied and will be reported here soon. Thank you to every one that got behind the event, especially the sliders and to Graeme Reid and his team of volunteers. Here are some of the highlights

The Big Freeze is now into its ninth year, and was started by AFL legend Neale Daniher's family.

Bec Daniher said "my Dad, Neil has been battling 'The Beast' since his diagnosis in 2013.

we are hoping money raised in Drysdale will be similar to last year's tally".
